This will be a quick one for now. I have built a Tetris game with Morfik 07. The source code is here (Pascal). There are no many comments in the source, but you should get the idea. You can use the comment section here if you have any questions about it. I will answer all of them except those about the colors

Update:
1. The Tetris game is now live at Morfik Labs
2. I found a bug in speed indication, a bug in setting speed and a screen dimension bug. I will fix them as soon as I have free hour. But that will be a good lesson for me to not do many changes in the last minute!
Update 27.06.2007:
I updated the Tetris Game and fixed some bugs. Here the changes are:
1. It can dynamically scale on different screen resolutions - tested at 800×600, 1024×768 and up - it should not have any problems.
2. Also changed the way speed is controlled.
3. Some look and feel changes.
Here is Slashdot thread about Morfik having patented aaahm … something:
“System and method for synthesizing object-oriented high-level code into browser-side javascript”. This includes “Ada, C, C++, C#, COBOL, ColdFusion, Common Lisp, Delphi, Fortran, Java, Object Pascal, SmallTalk, Visual Basic, and Visual Basic.NET”.
And here is the patent at USPTO.
AjaxMagazine has covered Morfik a couple of times before, but the latest is the best so far. It explains some of Morfik internals in a way no official Morfik document has until now. I mean: Apache integration model, Javascript loading, server side threads, client side DOM mapping and more. Very good read and this is just the first part.
Today Morfik has announced the release of “Morfik 07″, the production name of the platform we have known as Morfik, Morfik WebOS AppsBuilder, AppsBuilder.
The good things:
1. As we all now, it will be a “FREE full and complete working version for non-commercial use”.
2. When I build that killer application and I need many, many servers - I will pay nothing more then a single license, because of “ROYALTY-FREE DEPLOYMENT: One server: zero dollars. Ten-thousand servers: zero dollars.”
The bad thing:
1. US$5000 per developer for commercial use with significant concessions available for
subscribers to Pioneers’ 07 services and educational institutions.
Off-topic things:
1. As we all Delphi developers know - Delphi 7 was the best Delphi version ever. And now Morfik starts from there with the 07 ![]()
2. 07 is one 0 away from 007. I don’t know still what this means, but I am thinking about it as a very good sign.
Here is the full Morfik press release.
