Morfik 2 is out, they dropped Java and C#, dropped the price, created a great new UI, created commercial “cloud” hosting for Morfik Applications, added nice RSS support, improved the visual web page builder (I think this is the best visual web page builder I’ve ever seen, but I haven’t seen much of them), introduced themes, added image bundling for optimized performance. And many more.
The Bad: The bug, which is in from version 0.something is still there. When you close the current project, it will not close all open files 
The great (for me): Morfik devs hacked my old demo Tetris project, cleaned my buggy code, put the thing into shiny new clothes, and now it is deployed as one of the three demo projects within Morfik

Mauricio Longo recently started a blog called Morfik Watch at www.morfikwatch.com, where he posts his thoughts and views about Morfik. He posted a great article about how Morfik is evolving and why. For me it means I will have to put a new tagline for this blog “Writing about Morfik since 2006″
